Champion Forest is for the Birds!
In 1980 Champion Forest was designated a Bird Sanctuary. This designation was gained by the work of a former member of the Champion Forest Garden Club. Our Bird sanctuary helps protect birds and encourages the conservation of our environment. When an area is declared a bird sanctuary, there are laws in place protecting the feathered friends.
If you find injured or orphaned wildlife please contact the Wildlife Center of Texas.
